Describe what an average day in Bormio 2012 might look like?

My memory of Bormio is of great snow, lovely people, sunshine and fast skiing!

What about the English Alpine Champs 2012 are you most looking forward to?

I always look forward to Bormio and the English Champs. The skiing is excellent and I love the resort. The atmosphere is great and this really encourages me to ski at my best.

How did you first get into skiing?

I first started having ski lessons at the age of 3 at Hemel dry ski slope and soon discovered I loved skiing and wanted to take it further. I then joined Hemel Ski Racing Club at the age of 6 and never looked back!

What are your best results to date?

Coming 2nd in my first ever Super G race in the 2011 English Champs and being the fastest Children 1 English girl was a big high point for me. Coming 3rd overall in Children 1 at the British was also exciting. I was so pleased to win the Giant Slalom in the recent BARSC champs and being overall Children 2 champion was also great. But overall I am most proud of being re-selected for the GB children’s team for the 2011-12 season.

Where is your nearest slope?

Hemel Hempsted Snow Centre.

Which ski discipline is your favourite?

Difficult to say because I love them all but probably Slalom. It is the most technical of the disciplines.

Where do you most enjoy skiing in England?

This is a tough question but maybe Chill Factore in Manchester.

What is your favourite skiing moment?

Another tough question but it has to be representing my country in Abetone, which was very special.

What is your funniest skiing moment?

There was a cow got loose on the ski slopes in Bormio during the English Champs last year. It was chased by the farmer down the hill and ended up in a ski lift queue!

What are your aspirations for the future?

I want to continue to train hard and enjoy my skiing. I would love to continue to ski for Great Britain if I am still good enough. If I get lucky maybe I could aim for the Youth Olympics when I am older.
